Newport Beach Country Club Employee Scholarship Fund
We encourage all of our associates to continuously learn and grow. The Newport Beach Country Club Employee Scholarship Fund was created to increase educational opportunities and show appreciation to our dedicated staff. Scholarships are intended to help employees and/or dependents (spouse, children or grandchildren) obtain a high school diploma or GED, a college degree, or vocational training. Recipients can use scholarship funds for tuition or books, and can enroll in traditional or online educational programs.
To be eligible, the employee must work full time for NBCC for at least one full year at the time of application. Dependents include the employee’s spouse, children, step children, or grandchildren under the age of twenty-five years.
Scholarships will range between $1,000 to $5,000 per awarded applicant, but the Selection Committee will have discretion to allocate the funds as they feel would be best for the employees and for the Club. The Pickup and Martin families have generously seeded our program with a $25,000 grant from their foundation. They will match gifts up to $500, so a gift of $500 will enable one of our employees to receive $1,000 toward his or her education. With your help, we can make a huge impact on the lives of our employees.
